In no particular order [but  significant I guess, otherwise they would not have come to mind] . I'm a foundation supporter of Melbourne 'Storm' [the only Melbourne  based team in the National Rugby League competition].

I was born in Wairoa, New Zealand the youngest of five kids - three of us joining  the great migration across "the ditch" [Tasman Sea] to come and live in Australia. Being a Leo born in 1952 [the year of the Dragon] it will come as no surprise to read that I like being the dominant one!  Since graduating I have spent my working life in education in various roles: classroom teaching children aged 5-13 yrs, as assistant principal, working in a model school for the training of student teachers and currently teaching music to 4-11 year olds. Mike and I had our last  sabbatical / long service leave in June - September 2006,  - check out our itinerary pictures on the pictures link and visit the flip books of the trip.  [Picture Above: Provincetown 27/12/00]

From the photos included on our homepage you will be able to chart the effects of time on the old bod. We have a gym and lap pool but we do need to frequesnt a little more regularly.  Since we moved to Australia in 1986, I think I have truly become acclimatised as I find the winter cool, shedding my clothes cold and immersing myself in the water ..........!!!  

I'm a roller coaster addict [not necessarily a wise interest for someone who scores a spinal injury in 1983].  I love animals [oh, but you've probably realised that from seeing a photograph of my bear Mike].  My idea of a great holiday [anything from half a day to a lifetime ] is warm weather, surf, an uncrowded beach [unless it's full of images to excite the voyeur in me], good friends and the sunscreen. Oh yes, bathers/ togs/ swimming trunks if I have to! If you want to know more  just ask.
